To London via Train, touring by coach, St. Paul's Cathedral, the Tube, and Chinatown
- Traveled to London after another great breakfast at the Churchill Hotel in York.
- A few tour members opted for a cab ride to the train station so luckily for us, our luggage was delivered.
- Train ride was relaxing and fun but we had new friends to distract us from sights and scenery.
- Met our new driver, had a brief coach tour of London, & disembarked at St. Paul's Cathedral for a bite to eat before that tour.
- Be flexible--Westminster Abbey-- was closed for repair, saw St. Paul's instead. Now we have to come back!
- St. Paul's tour over, we were delivered with baggage to the Fielding Hotel, a cute private boutique hotel and a most charming owner.
- Only a few minutes rest and off again for "The Tube" orientation, which was a hoot.
- Dinner was on our own. We New Yorker's opted for Chinatown, but the bustle and crowd sent many back to Covent Gardens.
